Jan Toeter - Introduction
Since 1983 etching is by far my beloved medium.Working in copper or zinc with dry needle or etching lines with nitric acids, lately often combined with aquatint, gives me the happiness of craftsmanship. But there is always a part that is best described as magic.
My work is often a reflection on feelings or historic events, struggle for live.
Since 2003 I decided to work as an autonomous artist.
Working in as well Curacao as Holland.
Member of the Curacao artist organisation ArteVishon.
During the recent expositions in Holland and Curacao collectors from Holland, Curacao and the United States bought prints.
